WBOU is the first Catholic Radio Station in the city of Nashville. WBOU is an affiliate of Relevant Radio, the second largest Catholic Radio network in the USA.

On November 30th, 2016, the Most Reverend Bishop David R. Choby, Bishop of Nashville, launched WBOU radio station during the Catholic Media Productions' annual gala event.
The next chapter began on July 1st, 2020, when WBOU became officially a ministry of the Nashville Catholic Diocese, under the direction of Most Reverend J. Mark Spalding, Bishop.
WBOU broadcasts Catholic programs for the spiritual needs of the Nashville community. Every night at 8pm, WBOU broadcasts in Spanish to serve our Hispanic community (until 5am).
